You Order, We Laser
We laser each bead individually using our 100W fiber laser equipped with a rotary attachment. We don’t engrave, we oxidize. By focusing a tightly controlled beam of light onto the surface, we selectively heat the titanium just enough to create an oxide layer, resulting in a clean, durable mark.
I never used a lanyard on any tool before, but it’s a game changer for quick access. I keep mine like in the product image, with just the bead sticking out — makes it super easy to grab.
To some extent yes, having the cord with the bead in your hand gives you a better grip on the tool, not from a leverage standpoint but it supports the tool from shifting around. I thought it was strange as well but I personally am sold on a lanyard and would never take mine off my personal GhostTi.
Yes, the lanyard will fit through a hang hole larger than 0.20" (0.5 cm) without needing to force it. For smaller holes, you may need to thread it through using a thinner string.
We suggest feeding the lanyard loop in through the front face of the tool, then looping the bead through.
When installed, the cord measures approximately 3.5" (8.9 cm) from the tool to the end of the lanyard. Unknotted, the cord is 13" (33 cm) long.
The average bead takes about 5 minutes to laser, with the longest, Fractal, taking 9.5 minutes. Continuous patterns that wrap around the entire bead take longer than designs with separate images on each half.
